Looking to plan a fun, educational class trip? A trip to Boston Park Farm offers a valuable day out for all school groups.
We are excited to invite your class to our school visits programme, available all year round. Our extensive package of activity days are developed to suit many areas of the school curriculum, tailored to your age group.
Choose from one of our below programme options, or get in touch and our team of qualified educators can tailor your visit directly to what you need.
All visits (unless stated otherwise) include 1 free adult for every 4 children. Any child requiring 1-1 support also receives a free adult ticket. Any additional adults are £2 per person.
Our Packages:
Farming Through The Seasons – (£20 FOR 3 VISITS: Suggested Sept/Oct, Jan/Feb, June/July) - Not bookable online please email amy@bostonpark.com for more details.
Discover how life on and around the farm and how the natural world around us changes over the seasons. Minimum of 20 children.
EYFS Visit – £6.50/child
Includes: a guided tour of the animals with an animal handling session, tractor and trailer ride with a farm talk tailored to your group, a farm theme craft and access to the farm nature trail. Minimum of 20 children.
Key Stage 1/2 visit – £7.50/child
Includes: Choice of themed activity days such as; Where does our food come from?, Living things and their habitats and Exploring art through nature. All delivered by a qualified teacher and tailored to the age of the group and the curriculum. Full details will be discussed at the time of booking. Minimum of 20 Children. Special Educational Setting Visit – £6.50/child
Includes: a guided tour of the animals with an animal handling session, tractor and trailer ride with a farm talk tailored to your group. There is no minimum number and no limit to the number of adults.
Farming Fun Day Visit – £6.50/child
Fantastic day of fun at Boston Park Farm to treat your pupils e.g. Year 6 end of school trip, 100% attendance treat, house-points awards etc… Minimum of 10 children.
Includes: a guided tour of the animals with animal feed and an animal handling session, tractor and trailer ride and an outdoor activity (Maize Maze entry July-October) .
We can also offer added extras including additional lessons tailored to curriculum and age group. Maize Maze entry (mid July – end of October), Ice creams, keepsake of the day etc.
