Junior Farm Rangers
Junior Farm Rangers is a farm-based activity session designed specifically for children aged 8 – 14 years. Please note, parents will not be accompanying their child on this activity.
During the session, children will have the opportunity to learn through experience by taking part in practical activities around the farm such as feeding the animals, collecting hay or poo picking. None of these tasks are guaranteed and may vary each session. Children will be provided with all the equipment they need to complete the farm tasks.
The session is 90 minutes long
Additional information
Adults are to drop their child at the Cafe, where they will be met and supervised by a member of the education team. If adults wish to visit the farm, they must pay standard admission or present a valid annual pass. However, we do recommend for adults to not follow the group around the farm during their session as this can be distracting for the children and can disturb the group and please be considerate if taking photos of your child as there will be others in the group. .
Children will be escorted back to the Cafe at the end of the session and supervised until their parent/carer has arrived to collect them.
The group will meet outside the Cafe at the start of each session.
